The Big Yellow Barn
The Venue
It’s big. It’s yellow. It’s a barn. It’s… The Big Yellow Barn!
The BYB, built in 1917, was the first and only venue that Katie and Oliver toured. It had everything! Views of the Bridgers (where K+O took their first hike together), ample indoor space incase of inclement weather, and indoor bathrooms with flush toilets. Also, it’s gorgeous!
The barn itself has two stories, a lower and upper outdoor deck, and ample lawn space for socializing and lawn games! The ceremony will be held outdoors, weather permitting, and the reception will be on the second floor of the barn. The buffet will be located on the first floor!
For those guests who are unable to use stairs, the barn has an elevator! So fear not! (Note that this is only available to those who are mobility impaired)
Parking: The BYB has ample parking available! Please refer to the facility map below to see the location of the guest parking area.
Rules: The BYB is an old building that has been in the same family for generations. While our contract grants us sole use of the facility for the day of the wedding, there are a number of rules that we are required to follow. Please view the rules here (this will be a link soon).
For more information about the venue, please visit the Big Yellow Barn’s website! They have amazing photos of the different areas of the venue, both indoor and outdoor, as well as a virtual tour of the grounds, and a number of photo galleries from other weddings.
